Our Story

If you’ve landed here, you want to know about ME Marketing Services. Before you search around the site, let me introduce myself.

My name is Mandy Edwards, and I am ME Marketing Services. Alongside a remote team, we are the oldest digital marketing agency in Southeast Georgia.

Anyone who knows me knows I really don’t like talking about myself. I’d rather find out more about you! However since this page is for you to get to know the company, and hence, me, I step out of my comfort zone ?

I have always had a desire to help others. After 10+ years in sales and marketing, I branched out in 2011 on my own to start ME Marketing Services.

How did I get to now? It all started when I graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a degree in General Business & Marketing in 2001.  Go Dawgs!

As an undergraduate at UGA, I was involved in Baptist Collegiate Ministries (formerly known as the Baptist Student Union) where I established their first website and was responsible for media for the weekly worship gathering.  While in business school, I served as Pledge President and later Vice President of Pi Sigma Epsilon Marketing Fraternity, helping our chapter win national recognition at the 2001 National PSE Conference in Dallas, Texas.

After graduating, I worked in the newspaper advertising industry for almost 5 years before serving as the local Marketing Director for our Chick-fil-A Restaurant. After taking a break from full-time work when I become a mom for the second time, I took on the marketing for the local franchise of Bruster’s Ice Cream where I got the opportunity to present at their corporate office in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on local store marketing.

After receiving several inquires for contract marketing services, I dove head-first into entrepreneurship and started ME Marketing Services in June 2011.

My heart is in serving businesses. I work continually to educate myself in the latest in social media and digital marketing – from AI, apps, tools, Terms of Service changes to platform changes. I always have a pulse on what is going on. I serve businesses in consulting, training, and managing social media. And in the last few years we’ve expanded and added website design, incorporating a side project into a full-time business offering.

As the business has grown, so has my expertise and it’s been noticed. I have been a contributing author on social media and digital marketing to the websites Social Media Today, Business2Community, and The Southern C.

Most importantly, I am a wife and mom. My husband Ben and I have been married for over 20 years. We are the proud parents of two red-headed daughters. Our oldest is following her parents’ footsteps, attending the University of Georgia.

In the fall, you can find us in Section 306 of Sanford Stadium where we have been cheering on our 2021 & 2022 National Champion Georgia Bulldogs for over 25 years.

We are active members of First Baptist Church Statesboro.

We have worked with Mandy and her company since the fall of 2012. She has grown our social media audience from zero to over 5,000, focusing solely on the small niche area of forensic accounting. Our firm has been very pleased and impressed with her work and the results she has produced for us. We readily recommend her to other companies seeking the services she provides. Mandy and her company has also recently redesigned our firm website, making it mobile-friendly, and we have been very pleased with her work in that arena as well.
